AKC FIT Dog Turkey Trot 5K - Detweiler Park, Dauphin

Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to practice skills. This walk will be ~3.1 miles of easy walking on dirt or grass trails with frequent roots and occasional rocks on the trails. Grass trails may be wet and may be in full sun. Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. There is a portapotty at this location. We'll meet in the parking lot closest to the starting trail (look for my off-white 2008 Ford Escape with "Haulin' Auss" sticker on the rear window). 

Wildlife are often visible at this location and dogs are required to be on-leash.

Dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella vaccine is recommended as dogs may be in close proximity during the walk. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended as we will be walking near bodies of water…
