AKC FIT Dog Walk - Ned Smith Center

Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to earn points for FIT Dog titling (not a training walk). This walk will be 2-3 miles of moderate walking on dirt trails with frequent roots and rocks on the trails. Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. We'll meet in the visitor center parking lot and start the walk promptly at 10

Wildlife may be visible at this location and dogs are required to be on-leash.

Dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella vaccine is recommended as dogs may be in close proximity during the walk. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended as we will be walking near bodies of water where wildlife live. Tick preventive is essential as we live in Pennsylvania, where ticks are present year-round.
