Service Description

Must provide proof of up-to-date rabies and DHPP/DAPP vaccinations prior to start of class. No exceptions. Engage in a variety of fun fitness activities for mental and physical stimulation, and increased strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Course completion can be applied toward an AKC FIT Dog title. Dogs must have a clean bill of health and no significant prior injuries. This class is not appropriate for physical therapy or rehabilitation, for dogs in pain, morbidly obese dogs, or for young puppies. Skills to be covered in our 6 sessions: Nose touch Tuck sit Front paw targeting Shake a paw Cookie stretches Kick back stand Spin left and right Stand/Down/Stand Pivoting with rear legs Obstacle courses We'll use the following equipment (provided for your use in class): Klimb platforms (with legs of varying height) Balance pads Cavaletti poles Feed bins Silicone targets Possibly other inflatable equipment Prerequisite: completion of Manners or equivalent class and/or permission.
